Free landing page design review or ask a question!
I have been getting a lot of emails with questions about designing landing pages to improve conversion rates and maximize ROI. So I put up this blog to help document my best practices and provide design examples. If you have a question, please add a comment on this post. I may not be able to answer everything, but I am happy to try and help you out.
Free landing page design review
If you have a landing page design, post the URL here. One rule - do not use an ANONYMOUS as your name. Then, I will comment on your landing page or I may do a blog post with my complete review and recommendations.
Why am I doing this?
I am interested to see how you are using landing pages. What design challenges are you having? Do you think your conversion rates should be higher, why? Now you don’t need to email me, post your questions and examples here.

Hi,
first of all, thank you for your insight on the landing pages.
I have a question, I am not sure where to start with creating a landing page. Should I use php html tpl, etc. I want to make a template landing page so that later I would be able to change images (frames) and thus have a “new” landing page. I want to incorporate on this page a Live Chat too.

I am starting a new online consumer service. It is intended for customers who have a single box or a few boxes of items they need stored securely. This instead of renting an expensive Self Storage Unit. I am working on a homepage design and need your critique/ideas. I need to send a file as I do not have a website as of yet.

The conversion rate is not as high as I’d like given that the conversion is a free download. And very few are doing anything else on the site - browsing products or articles.
The site’s just launched, and it’s only being fed by adwords and digg-type sites now, but I feel there is a lot of work I need to do on this landing page before I want to spend larger dollars on bigger ad campaigns.

Would love your ideas on our landing page for Elastic Server On Demand at http://es.cohesiveft.com. It’s not specifically a ‘landing page’ in the sense that the user isn’t required to sign up until he actually creates a server. I know it has a bit too many actions and we’re working on condensing it to one main call to action. Thanks!

Would appreciate your insight on my landing page: http://www.cashurwheels.com - It is an online marketplace that connects advertisers with vehicle owners willing to display ads on their owbn vehicle. The website essentially speak to 3 stakeholder at the same time and I believe it is not getting the point across for either of the users groups at this point. All pointers are greatly appreciated.
